OnePlus 5T: The Return of the King

OnePlus 5T, the new version of the smartphone that positively amazed all the critics of the android world and most of the critics of smartphones, was officially presented in New York today.

Considered a Flagship Killer, the OnePlus 5 left everyone amazed by its incredible technical features, featuring the most advanced Snapdragon 835 processor which is an Octa-core with a 2.45GHz clock, two rear cameras one of 20MP and another 16MP, and two versions one with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and another with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and a 3300mAh battery, which although it seems a low value for battery capacity, is more than enough due to the extremely lightweight custom android from OnePlus, the OxygenOS.

The OnePlus 5T is very similar, but even though the rear cameras have the same resolution, unlike the OnePlus that had different lens apertures, the OnePlus 5T has an aperture of 1.7, not only getting great portraits with no commitment in the resolution, but still take amazing photos in low light environments.

The other great thing about the OnePlus 5T is the incredible 18: 9 screen, and a reduced frame, against the old 16: 9 format, increasing the screen available and giving a look more modern and attractive to the smartphone. Another novelty is that the fingerprint reader has passed to the back of the smartphone, the reader continues to have the same impressive performance of the OnePlus 5, taking a mere 0.2 seconds to unlock.

OnePlus has also decided to implement face lock, and it takes only 0.3 seconds to unlock the device, despite the high level of security and ability to identify the person, even if the person is using props such as a scarf.

As for prices, the brand decided thankfully to keep those of the previous model, costing € 499 the 64GB model of Storage and 6GB of RAM, and € 559 the 128GB model of Storage and 8GB of RAM. The company also opted to keep the 3.5 jack that serves as a connection for headphones, and to not implement the technology of wifi charging, due to considering that it has not yet reached its maturity, and is still in an embryonic stage, however, the smartphone has its proprietary technology, DashCharge, which allows you to get a day’s charge, in only 30 minutes.

The OnePlus 5T will go on sale from 21 November.
