Coronavirus leads to Facebook conference cancellation

The World Health Organization has declared the Covid-19 outbreak as an international public health emergency and has warned of a possible pandemic, after a sudden increase in cases in Italy, South Korea and Iran in the past few days.

In Portugal, the General Health Organization registered 25 suspected cases of infection.

The only known case of a Portuguese man infected with the new virus is that of a cruise ship crew member who was admitted to a hospital in the Japanese city of Okazaki, located about 300 kilometers southwest of Tokyo.
