China aims to build the fastest maglev train in the world

China wants to build the magnetic levitation train (Maglev) the fastest in the world, a machine capable of reaching 600 kilometers per hour.

The news came via the official Xinhua news agency.

This construction, whose deadlines were not disclosed yet, will be in charge of the Chinese state-owned company that is a leading producer of railway equipment, the CRRC, and will initially start the construction of a line that will have at least five kilometers in order to test the train.

To obtain contracts abroad, the CRRC will work in the construction of magnetic levitation trains that are able to reach 200 kilometers per hour, in order to consolidate the technology in China and then export it, said Sun Bangcheng, representative of this company.
