The brand of Elon Musk has decided that it will no longer produce the lowest model of the Model S, the Model S 75. The model in question, despite being the entry model of the brand, reached the end of the road due to the appearance of Model 3.
The Model 3 is Tesla’s first mass-production car with a value in mind, and was created to enable the average user to have a Tesla. With a starting price of $ 35 000, the car currently under production eliminates the need for the Model S entry model, since Model 3 is much cheaper and closer in terms of equipment.
It is not the first time that the brand ends with a model, having already in 2016 finished the production of the version of 85 kWh of Model X, and the version of 90kWh of Model S.
The strategy of the brand is, as always, interesting, and logically that it would not make any sense to keep the model mentioned, since it would negatively influence the Model 3 sales.
